Each day an echo of the last, each night a tear.
He blamed the winds; he blamed the stars; he blamed the cruel sea,
He blamed all but his shadowed heart, for his soul's misery.

His days were woven with worry's thread, through every waking hour,
His dreams at night were tangled webs, spun b…
